How wonderful are these colors? The compilation of hues are the under painting, or the first stage of my painting process. The first stage defines the light source. Everything in shadow is cool; everything in light is warm. The painting appears over bright and exaggerated at this stage.

The angular subject matter is quite different for me, and the challenge of so many angles and hard lines keeps me on my toes. Being so accustomed to the organic textures and shapes of a landscape I find this a great diversion. Will post the second stage soon.
