"Just Picked" oil painting

I told myself that I was not going to paint a small painting today. I was going to get to work on some paintings for the ARTrails open studio

that will be held in October. However, my husband came into the house bearing gifts of fruit from our garden. He opened the door calling out, "Here's your next painting!", and held out this pear from the still attached branch. Love that guy. I couldn't resist, and put off the painting on the larger works for tomorrow.
