A Benefit of Owning an Original Art Painting

When walking into your living room, bedroom, office or ANY space, how would you like to feel in that particular space? How would you like the elements of a room or a space to affect you, to enhance the atmosphere of the room?

I recently created a commission for a client who requested a painting strong in reds, oranges and yellows. And then, I asked her how she wanted the painting to make her feel, what qualities should that painting give her when she cam across it in her spacious and lovely home. She stated, "Happy, like dancing under the Sun!"

I created a composition and played with the colors until the painting felt happy, harmonious and active. Typically, my paintings have a playful, enchanting quality inspired by nature, or an emotion. Currently I am developing a "Zen" series as well, that is more soft, quiet and tranquil, like a whisper.

A painting in a featured spot should exude a quality of consciousness as well as being an integral part that can harmoniously pull a room together.
