Jill’s intention is to express intense feelings such as love and joy; or the feeling of the air, color, and sound of walking on the beach on a particular day. The paintings also create a visual environment that can be felt and experienced, invoking feelings of vibrancy or tranquility in the viewer.
When you look at a sunset, how many colors do you see, how many shades of pink or blue? What color is the rain, or the feeling of delight? Artist Jill Keller Peters addresses these questions by using color as an expressive language. Her current oil paintings are color abstractions that could be more closely described as color-field painting. Jill calls them color explorations; color being her most important and most powerful communication tool. She says “I express and develop a language with my work through color.”

I can’t thank Jill enough for creating such the magical and beautiful piece of art that I just purchased. I was so thrilled to share it with my daughters, family and friends.
Every time I admire the painting, it just brings me to a smile as I recall the feeling that I felt when I first set eyes on it. I look forward to seeing more of her art work in the future.

Jill, we are so happy find the blue painting (Blue Pool). When we saw it, we fell in love with it and knew we wanted to take it home. We placed it in our bedroom where we can see it when we wake up in the morning. We love your work and always look forward to seeing what you're going to do next.

I just wanted to reiterate again how much we love your work. My wife and I both have very passionate opinions on what we respond to aesthetically and it's rare to come across an artist whose work we both connect to immediately.
