What does an artist do when global changes occur? She continues painting. I was already set on an exploration as the global pandemic unfolded, an exploration with oil paint and cold wax medium. I painted 30 paintings in 30 days, small, original and focussed. Some days it was difficult to concentrate. All the work was intuitive, and only subconsciously 
affected by our world wide and local circumstances. For me, that meant shelter-in-place. Ironically, characteristic of my artwork , it denotes joy and triumph, which is how a life study in color affects me.
