POPSICLE - Oil on canvas, 24 x 24 x 1.5 in

While I was painting this artwork I was concentrating on simplicity, color and space, and had nothing in mind about a popsicle. Except one day, when a visitor came into my studio, they exclaimed "Popsicle!", a  reminder of the beautiful paletas from Fru-ta, our nearby natural artisan ice cream shop where I go for fresh fruit popsicles.
