When designing this painting I wanted to create something very simple and strong. The palette and the composition are keenly related. The effect is both calming and active, and the title came to me in the final stages.

This painting, "Moonlight", was selected to be included in the ABSTRACT show, an international exhibit opening on June 18, 2022 at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts.

The painting continues around the sides of the canvas.
