How a painting affects you and your living space, whether it’s nourishing or not, is dependent on these three principles:

1. Every object in a room affects how that room feels. A single, conscious expression of art can, through the knowledge of color and rhythm, greatly shift a room toward something more nourishing.

2. Color can be artfully arranged in such a way as to create a visual language, a language that can make your space feel the way you are longing for. For instance, your space may be wanting a change to something more:
  • Soothing and tranquil, serene
  • Joyful, musical and vibrant
  • of a feeling of beauty and order
  • Somewhere in between

 3. Your own authentic color preferences are the key to finding your heart in the painting. If you have a deep fondness for a particular color, you really enjoy having it around you, and doing so, is supporting your innermost being.
