FOUND OBJECTS - Oil on canvas, 40 x 20 x 1.5 in

FOUND OBJECTS is a study of shapes and their relationship to the space in which they exist on the canvas. They remind me of things I find on a walk, part of a sign, a random gorgeous color. The totem effect makes me think of my unknown origins, that somehow I connect to my ancestors through my DNA expressed in art . . .the beauty of abstract art.
