Installation of 9 - 20" x 20 x 1.5" panels $8000 Urban Garden takes me to place in a large city environment where the architecture is towering, and one has to look way up to see the sky. The buildings cast shadows, the sun filters through, and every once in a while one sees a beautiful garden, alive and lush, strong, thriving. I chose a palette based on the color red for the Urban Garden installation. I wanted to feature the color without over using it, by employing space, and varying the supporting hues. Red is especially of subliminal importance in this painting. Red, heavy with gravitas - Red, bright, and full of new life and oxygen, regeneration, promise, hope.
