Driving down to Palm Springs on the I-5 can we came upon an almond grove, freshly blooming in the soft early spring sunlight. I was inspired to paint the landscape and push it further with the abstracted colors of the blossoming trees, sky and land.

​The painting continues around the sides of the canvas.
